The Palace on Wheels is one of the finest luxury trains in India, interestingly it is the first luxury train that started on 26th January 1982 and since then is known for its royal hospitality and high-end service. Inspired by Palace on Wheels,  Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, another royalty of the Indian Railways. This train is specifically designed for the train journey of one of the culturally rich states of Rajasthan. Moreover, the interiors of this train are inspired by Rajasthani royal palaces.

The guests are served delectable food in two luxury restaurant coaches, which are Sheesh Mahal coach and Swarn Mahal, coach.
