Bugyal is a Hindi word that refers to alpine pastures that grow at high altitudes, usually above 10,500 ft. Meadows like these grow above the treeline. Hence, they have spacious openings from which you’ll be enchanted by the mountain vistas and valleys surrounding them.

In India, Ali Bugyal and Bedni Bugyal are among the most famous bugyals. We also have other stunning examples of bugyals in our country, the Dayara Bugyal and the Gidara Bugyal
