Himachal Pradesh is the perfect destination to take a breather from the usual, commercial life, which is almost everyone’s dream. When you enter Himachal Pradesh, it greets you with breathtaking views, lovely weather, lip-smacking cuisines, and much more. However, the state is becoming increasingly commercialised. It has become a typical tourist destination; hampering the overall beauty and outlook.

Despite the tourism, there are still some places that are tiny in size but have something magnificent to offer when it comes to natural beauty. They are less populated, enabling nature to maintain its pristine aura.

Our friend, Amit, a finance specialist, got the chance to discover these places and had a challenging yet memorable experience. Amit was determined to cover the entire Spiti Valley circuit. It comprised places like Rampur Bushahr, Chitkul, Reckong Peo, Kalpa, Nako, Kaza, and finally, Manali.

So, let’s explore these fascinating towns of Himachal Pradesh with our friend, Amit Singh:

According to Amit, this was one of the most beautiful nature sights he had ever seen and stayed there for around two and a half days. The town is around the Baspa River, allowing the visitor to rejuvenate his/her body & soul. It is also home to many famous temples like Kagyupa Temple, Bering Nag Temple, and more. Besides temples, the town also has a beautiful monastery and a unique school that teaches students the art of wood carving.

Reckong Peo is a very small village which is spread over a distance of only 10 kilometres. To witness nature at its best, Reckong Peo is the perfect destination as it is a place with abundant natural beauty and peace. Kalpa is a significant contributor to the popularity of Reckong Peo. The village is also famous for its apples, which are the cash crop in the particular area.

Kaza Village:

It is a village located in the Spiti Valley with a population of only 3200 people! According to Amit, it is the perfect getaway if a person wants to just relax out in the open with no worries but a smile on the face. With no one around, it enables you to establish a connection with nature and realise its very significance.

Besides this, Amit had a wonderful time in Himachal Pradesh as he talked to the locals & learned about their culture. He also didn’t forget to munch on the native luscious cuisines. To sum up, Amit’s expedition to Spiti Valley was a wholesome experience. It is the perfect example justifying that materialistic things are nothing compared to the beautiful creations of God.
