Next, he travelled to Tosh, which is famed for its hippie culture. However, Tosh draws tourists from all over the map and is well-suited for solo and group excursions. Not to mention, it is located at a spectacular elevation of 2,400 m.

Stopping by the Malana; an ancient village in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Malana is often touted as the best place to visit in the entire country. And with good reason: set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas, Malana is a spectacular place to visit with its lush green hills, old temples and apple orchards. But it’s not just tourists who flock here: in the winter months, Malana is filled with adventure seekers, with skiers and snowboarders making the pilgrimage to the area. It is from these tourists that the area earns the majority of its revenue.

Then, this fun, calm and serene short trip ended with a check-in and a ride back to Gandhi Nagar.

Here are some quick suggestions by Peeyush that makes a perfect trip:
  • In fact, Pre-Book your accommodations for a hassle-free trip. There might be traffic and cold weather that will make on-spot reservations inconvenient.
  • Travel through own vehicle if possible to avoid the high priced local transport. Since it cost Peeyush a considerable amount of INR 8000 – INR 9000 for travel in Malana.

  • There is a shortage of ATM outlets, and we suggest you to carry enough cash for the trip.
  • Approximate Budget: INR 10,000 to INR 12,000 (including food and accomodation).
