Do you dream of an all-girls trip? All alone? And then it breaks your heart that it only happens in the movies. Well, not anymore. We have brought a unique travel story where Priyanka sets some goals and checks places off her bucket list. Priyanka is a resident of Delhi and made a sudden plan to go all the way to Mukteshwar with her friends/colleagues.
This is a tip to all our readers that “sudden plans” are a thing and not just our fantasies!
She works as an interior designer and is a big travel enthusiast and loves taking on adventures once in every while. She and her friends booked a car and a driver to drive them to Mukteshwar and took off at midnight on Thursday and planned to have a quick 3-day trip. It took them about 7-8 hours to reach there with all the refreshment breaks in between.
However, they booked the camp upon reaching and not before, to have the minimum possible distance from all the visiting places. The camp had the best morning view of the Himalayan range and was luckily quite near to ‘Chauli ki jali’.
Now what may come as a surprise to many is that these 5 girls were all alone in the camp. Since they arrived on a working day, the camp did not have much of a rush. All there was, was the main staff of the hotel, which Priyanka says were quite polite and friendly. And they did not feel unsafe during their stay.

After a quick change and food, they went out exploring the natural surroundings that encircle Mukteshwar. Priyanka believes in scouting the unexplored bits of nature. She says these are the hidden gems that often get lost among the prominent spots. Therefore, she made a list of offbeat places beforehand to enjoy and recommends the same to everyone.
It is a real and an actual way to best explore the place, in its original essence.
So her first spot was the hidden waterfalls which took a good 2 km hike to reach. So wear good shoes if you are visiting the falls.
Next on her list was to visit the Mukteshwar temple and Chauli ki jali, which is a fantastic sunset spot. Which also takes a moderate amount of hiking. There was quite a bit of rush in these spots as it was a weekend.
This was a budget trip and everything was booked and bought keeping that in mind. It took INR 8000 per person which covered absolutely every expense on the trip.
So this was the wonderful and out-of-the-box story of Priyanka, where she explored Mukteshwar all alone with her girls and had a mindblowing experience of her life.
