“पधारो म्हारे देश” – meaning (Welcome to my land).

One of our dear travellers, Mano Rangesh recently marked his visit to the magnificent state to witness the magic of real India. Working as a photographer since 2108, he mainly focuses on travel, landscapes, street photography. He was thrilled at the journey and the moments lived in between the journeys and therefore he’s here to share his experience loud to all the aspiring travellers out there. So without wasting a moment let’s fasten our seatbelts and get ready to witness the virtual tour to the art-rich state, RAJASTHAN.

Rajasthan here we come

Mano Rangesh began his trip from Chennai to Rajasthan with a group of 15 members by train to cover major celebrated spots of Rajasthan i.e. Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Mount Abu, Udaipur & more.

The trip was planned by HM tourism that covered accommodation, food and transportation widely. It was a 6 day planned trip that Mano Rangesh took with a vision to capture unmatchable shots by his camera.

Mano is an aspiring Landscape Photographer who is currently getting his hands stronger on Fashion & Wedding Photography. He along with the team set out to Jodhpur from Chennai. They reached Jodhpur the very next morning and got themselves settled in a hotel. After sharing some rest and refreshment moments the group headed to explore the beautiful Jodhpur.

They snapped some super cool photographs of locals, streets and some noteworthy spots. The people there came out to be very kind, helpful and cooperative. Mano along with the group then departed to explore another magnificent beauty of Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort. The fort architecture was well studded and did a lot of talking. The palace was another beauty to not miss. In the evening the group headed to Jaswant Thada to enjoy the enchanting spread of the golden beauty evoked by the setting sun. And it truly by all means was worth it.

Photography, Safari, Food & more

Day 2 began with packing stuff from Jodhpur and setting to explore Jaisalmer. Mano, along with the team left for Jaisalmer early in the morning and reached around evening. On reaching the very first thing they indulged in was exploring the beauty of Sand Dunes and living the magical experience of Camel & Jeep Safari. It was the very first safari that Mano ever had. He believed it to be very adventurous.

After marking a great start at Jaisalmer, they all were set to now explore the Jaisalmer fort. The group reached the spot and began to appreciate the rich spread of its architecture. Meanwhile, Mano involved himself in capturing nearby spots with his camera. He later also explored a variety of street food items which felt super delicious to him. After spending some decent time at the fort they left to explore, Patwon ki Haveli which again was another breathtaking delight.

Day 4 began with exploring the historically rich Mount Abu. The group made it early in the morning, enjoying the sparkling spread of evolving lights of nature. Mano here captured some strong and striking pictures and then headed to Guru Shikhar. It was fun getting there, except for the trekking part, says Mano. But reaching the top seemed absolutely worth it. The view was simply magnificent. In the evening they returned to Mount Abu to capture sunset shots, which mano successfully succeeded in doing.

Udaipur: The magical city

The magical Day 5 was to be spent in Udaipur. The place simply felt no less than absolute magic. They explored a number of famous spots & activities here. City Palace, Lake, Mountains, Boating and whatnot. Mano ceased some stunning shots of the architecture and the widespread rich Rajasthan heritage that flourished at every spot visited. They then in the evening settled back to Hawa Mahal to practise a few more sessions of photography.

Time to bid good-bye

The last day always feels the hardest, trust me. But somehow Manu had to mark a leave but before doing so he did make his presence sound at Amer Fort where he had some fantastic clicks to store. It consisted of noisy streets, mystical people, rich architecture and more. They also had a small visit back to Hawa Mahal to witness the enchanting golden morning spread.

It was finally now the time to wave bye to this lively destination with a heavy heart and hopeful soul of visiting again. In the evening the entire group departed at 7 to return to their homeland with millions of moments stored.

The place according to Mano was full of life, love and colour. It’s a perfect pick for any and every traveller. The spot is absolutely sound and safe with extremely hospitable locals. So go ahead and explore your best.
