All Aboard!

The trip was taken on 03rd Dec’21 (night). They boarded from Punjab railway station and reached Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar they set out to Rishikesh using a local transport vehicle. Rishikesh is at a convenient distance of about half-an-hour. On reaching Rishikesh they decided to take a halt at Beatles Ashram, which is one of the most preferred and convenient spots by the tourist.

Day 1 – Beatles Ashram

Beatles ashram is one of the most soothing places to visit according to Utkarsh. It is widely tailored with greenery, great amenities, and a vibrant environment. On average you need to at least spend 2 hours to mark a complete view of the ashram. Utkarsh with his companions reached the Beatles ashram the very morning and explored every corner of it. On successfully doing so they headed to Wonderous Campsite in Rishikesh. They had their booking priorly done.
On reaching the campsite they had their lunch which had a perfect blast of taste, quality and aroma. It consisted of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that allowed travellers to pick based on their choice.

Day 2 – Wonderous Campsite

After a decent first day, the team headed to sprinkle a little spice of adventure to the trip. River rafting was something that here was about to get real. Utkarsh along with his travel companions headed to the spot, Shivpuri. The guide of the campsite announced a river rafting from Shivpuri to Rishikesh which was about 16 km that easily acquired about 2 hours of the time.

‘The rafting was extremely enthralling and fearful’ said Utkarsh. The water level seemed a little higher than the usual but was a great experience to live and cherish. They further headed to Cliff jumping which was from a height of 30 meters. It seemed easier to look at but was extremely gruesome when practicing it.
After successfully ticking away two major adventurous activities the group headed back to the campsite and loaded their tasty food. By evening they left for Triveni Ghat to attend the Maha Aarti that usually is practiced somewhere between 5:45 pm – 6:00 pm. The Maha Aarti is a true divine to watch, Utkarsh says. It altogether has a different kind of energy where every individual gets lost in the positive and pious arena created around.

To be a part of the Aarti one needs to be fully vaccinated or else the individual needs to get checked with the authority holding the in charge there. According to Utkarsh, travelling to Rishikesh is extremely safe and sound for any and every individual. The locals there are truly helpful and responsibly ensure that travellers receive the utmost hospitality and help.
