Doodhpathri Valley Kashmir

When we think of Kashmir, more often than not, we think of mighty mountains with a blanket of white pristine snow. Although it is just as beautiful as it sounds, there is more than that to Kashmir. This beautiful meadow has a velvet soft carpet of emerald green grass that stretches as far and wide as your eyes can see. To add to the beauty, the valley also has sky-high pine trees. Walking on the grass barefoot feels nothing less than a sweet massage.

Reason Two: The Magical White Stream

The valley gets its name from the flowing stream that divides it. The sound of the gushing waters feels like music to the ears that you would want to listen to forever. The rushing water looks like a stream of milk flowing through the valley. Legends say that once a saint of Kashmir, Sheikh-ul-Alam, prayed on the valley and pricked the ground with his stick to get some water. Instead of water, milk started oozing out from the ground. And that is one of the reasons why it is called Doodhpathri.

Reason Three: Clear Skies And Refreshing Air

Away from all the pollution and city chaos, you can enjoy gazing at the clear skies and watching clouds float by as you lay on the soft green grass. The cool clean breeze of the valley will feel like a kiss of nature making you forget all your stress and breath in peace in form of pure air.
