Heritage Grape Winery-Mysore, Karnataka

RV Reddy started Heritage Winery in 2004. It is located 60 kilometres southwest of Bangalore, near the town of Channapatna. The vineyard offers five different wine varietals. Two of these are of Indian origin and three are of French origin. Furthermore, Heritage is famous for their fortified wines made from the Bangalore Blue grape, a Vitis labrusca varietal.

Chateau d’Ori, Dindori, Madhya Pradesh:

Chateau d’Ori, located 22 kilometres from Nashik and synonymous with ‘luxury,’ spans 200 acres. The Chateau d’Ori is home to India’s largest Merlot plantation. It also makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Chardonnay. Furthermore, the best part about these Vineyards is that they are fully environmentally friendly. They do not use pesticides or fertilisers, generate power using windmills, and so on. The overnight stay package includes dinners, wine tasting tourism, and a tour for 6,500 INR.
