Bhedaghat is nothing like the regular ghats you may see in central India. This spectacle of nature will leave you spellbound with its high marble rocks making a valley for a stream of Narmada to pass. You can take a boat ride and pass through the enchanting river to reach the magnificent Chaunsath Yogini Temple at the other end. To make your time all the more memorable, you can take the boat ride during a moonlit night and gaze at the stars as the skipper rows you through this magical place. 

Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh

One of the seven sisters of the northeast, Arunanchal Pradesh is known for its abundance of natural beauty. Hidden behind all the famous spots is Ziro, a place so open and free that you would want to stay here forever. This place is covered with thick layers of green grass spread overall the mountain and tree plantations on distance. While you are here, all you will see are spectacular shades of blues and greens. This is an ideal spot to rejuvenate and reconnect with yourself, leaving behind all the stress and indulging in a surreal experience.  

Dzukou Valley, Nagaland

Lush green hillocks kissing the clouds with clear blue sky as a backdrop is what you can expect in the Dzukou Valley. This surreal Indian destination is so unique that you cannot get enough of it. There is no “wrong time” for visiting this valley. However, if you visit here during spring, you will be mesmerised by the beauty of blooming flowers. The view between July to September in the Dzukou valley is simply fabulous. 

Gurudongmar Lake, North Sikkim

Yet another gem from the most unexplored part of the country – the northeast. Gurudongmar Lake sits at a height of 17,100 ft above sea level making it one of the highest lakes in the country. The beauty of this lake can surpass your imagination of nature. This picturesque spot is breathtakingly beautiful and the scenic view is to die for. A pristine lake with crystal clear water under the brilliant blue sky with snow-clad mountains at the back – that’s Gurudongmar Lake for you.   

Hogenakkal Falls, Tamil Nadu

Situated near the borders of Karnataka, Hogenakkal Falls is also known as the Niagra of India. The scenic beauty of the falls is unparalleled. Carbonatite rocks make a valley that gives birth to a river stream when the water from the waterfalls collect here. You can take a ride in the classic disk boats and sink in the beauty while letting yourself have a relaxing time.
