The Yak Golf Club of Sikkim holds the record for being the highest golf course in the world, also making it the highest golf course in India. The beautiful course is in skirts of Himalayas giving you an unmatched view as you flaunt your golf skills. At an altitude of over 13,000 ft, this club was inaugurated in 1972 before being re-designed by Brigadier J M Singh in 1979. A few years later, Brigadier Ranbir Singh and Colonel T K Murali turned it into an 18-hole golf course. 

2. Gulmarg Golf Club, Jammu & Kashmir

Gulmarg Golf Club is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful golf clubs in India. It is also one of the highest golf courses as it is situated at an altitude of approximately 8600 ft. Due to its altitude and slopes, the landscape of the course is quite unique and often appreciated by golf players. If you wish to relax and flex your golf skills at the Gulmarg Golf Club, you must visit the place between May and November because, for the rest of the months, the club is covered in snow.   

3. DLF Golf And Country Club, Delhi

Designed by the renowned Arnold Palmer, this is a gorgeous private club in Gurgaon. Comprising over to an area of 7,204 yards, this 18-hole golf course with almost 14,000 trees has five man-made lakes to help you relax. DLF Golf And Country Club has hosted countless professional tournaments including the Johnny Walker Classic in 2008.

4. Royal Calcutta Golf Club, Kolkata

The Royal Calcutta Golf Club is the oldest Indian golf club established in 1829. It is unbelievably beautiful as it spread over the length of 7195 yards with 18 holes and par 72. The club got the “Royal” title from King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. This golf club has a historical significance as several British tournaments took place here. 

5. Oxford Golf & Country Club, Pune

The Oxford Golf & Country Club is one of the most beautiful golf clubs in India as it is boardering the Sahyadri Hillson on three sides. Strecthing across 136 acres, this 18-hole horseshoe-shaped course is ideal for professional golfers and golf lovers. It is also a leisure destination with 1,100-acre of land in allotment of course houses, villas, apartments, a hotel and a country club.

6. Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore

Commenced in 1999, Eagleton Golf Resort is nothing less than a paradise for golfers who seek serenity. This 18-hole and par 72 golf course spread out to 7,100 yards. It has over 40,000 trees and several man-made lakes where you can relax and rejuvenate.
